2023 Faculty of Agriculture Fall Campus Hike

In order to help prospective students get a feel for the campus atmosphere of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology Faculty of Agriculture, we will be holding an autumn campus hike where current students will guide them around the campus.

We will introduce you to the educational environment, including Main Building for Faculty of Agriculture which is registered as a national tangible cultural property, and the vast farm, which you would never expect to find in Tokyo.
After the campus hike, there will be an opportunity for face-to-face explanations of the department by Faculty Member and current students.

Event schedule/participation application

• Advance registration is required to participate. (Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.)
• Please apply from the [Participation Application Form] for the department you wish to participate in.
• Up to 1 companion can participate. Please apply at the same time.
• To apply for participation, please select one of the following sessions: 9:30-10:30, 11:30-12:30, and 14:00-15:00.
• Once your application is complete, we will send you an email, so please be sure to check the email. If you do not receive the email, please contact the contact information below.

Request regarding application for participation

1. If you have already applied for participation and decide to postpone your participation due to unforeseen circumstances, please be sure to cancel in advance. You can cancel from My Page.
2. There is no waiting list function. Applications can be made at any time in the event of a cancellation.
3. In order to ensure that many applicants (high school students and above) can participate face-to-face, we ask that their companions understand the purpose of the event.
4. Applications by phone or email, and same-day applications will not be accepted.

• Contents are subject to change without notice.
• In the event of a typhoon or other bad weather, the event may be canceled to ensure the safety of visitors and current students. If the event is canceled, we will announce it on our university website.

About reception on the day

Please arrive at Main Building for Faculty of Agriculture on time for the event.

Notes on participating

1. You will not be required to wear a mask when entering our campus.
2. Please note that due to venue capacity, it may be difficult to avoid the three Cs and maintain distance between people.
3. You will be walking around the campus, so please wear light clothing (comfortable shoes and clothes).
4. Please take care of your health by staying hydrated.
