It was difficult to understand what kind of research was being done on growing various varieties of blueberries...Are they increasing the yield or improving the varieties?

Up until now, we have been selecting varieties suitable for plant factories and outdoor cultivation, and we are currently conducting research on increasing yield and improving quality using the selected varieties.

What kind of animals can you learn about in livestock farming? Also, were there any students who did research on horses in the past?

The animal husbandry research laboratory mainly focuses on chickens and cows.
In addition, in the animal biochemistry (mammalian) laboratory, we are conducting regeneration experiments on horse tendons.

Can insects enter it without touching it?

it's okay. There are experiments using insects, but if you do it with the cooperation of your group friends, there will be no problems.

I have a question about the lecture, but do you ever operate agricultural machinery during practical training?

During practical training for second-year students, students may ride and operate agricultural machinery (for example, driving a rice transplanter or tractor in a paddy field).

Are you doing things like genetically modifying flowers to change their colors?

We are conducting genetic modification experiments on flowers in our ``Horticulture Laboratory'' and ``Plant Breeding Laboratory''.

The Soil Science Laboratory is conducting research on sustainable soil use.
