Purpose of Cooperative Education through Research Internships
By popularizing long-term, paid research internships as part of graduate school education, we will establish this as a culture in society, thereby matching the employment model appropriate for Society 5.0 with the learning that higher education offers.
?An environment where outstanding graduate students can confidently choose to proceed to doctoral courses
?In anticipation of the expected expansion of job-based employment in the future, industry and universities will work together to provide graduate school education and foster practical skills backed by research capabilities that can withstand international competition.
- Internships will be meaningful to students' growth without interfering with their studies, and recruitment activities will utilize the results of their studies.
What is Cooperative Education through Research Internships
A "Cooperative Education through Research Internships" is defined as an internship that meets all of the following requirements:
? For graduate students who have the basic knowledge and skills to carry out research
? Long-term (2 months or more) and paid (starting salary level) research internship
? Implemented as a credit subject in a regular curriculum
? After the internship is completed, the company will interview the student and issue an evaluation report and certificate.
? The results of the internship can be properly evaluated by companies and reflected in their recruitment selection process.

Steps for participating in Cooperative Education through Research Internships
The general steps for participating in Cooperative Education through Research Internships are as follows:
1. Register your profile on the dedicated system
2. Search for internships at each company on the system
3. Choosing a company to apply for an internship
4. Confirmation and permission from Supervisor
5. Apply to join the company through the system
6. Selection by the applicant company (profile selection, matching interview and selection process) and notification of results
7. Conclusion of employment contract regarding acceptance
8. Course Registration
9. Preliminary learning
10 Participate in an internship
11 Evaluation by participating companies
12. Submitting the evaluation report to the university
13 Credit Accreditation
